Mangles Vineyard Suisun Valley Grenache 2017

PWR's fruity Grenache is light ruby in colour with fresh cherry compote and forest fruit coming through the core and a gentle herbal undercoat. The palate is smooth, mouth-filling finishing on a tingle of spice.

Excellent with beef, game, lamb, pasta in tomato sauce, poultry and vegetarian dishes.

Best served at 15 – 18°C.

Meet the winemaker, Matt Reid. He completed the UC-Davis Viticulture & Enology M.S. program in 2003. He has been the winemaker at Seavey Vineyard and Quixote Winery, the Custom Crush Winemaker at Failla Wines, and Consulting Winemaker for Burgess Cellars. He is currently winemaker for Benessere Vineyards.

PWR source their grapes from some of California’s most amazing vineyards, across Sonoma, Mendocino County, and Suisun Valley.

Vinification: The wine fermented to dryness in an open-top tank and then matured in neutral French oak barrels to allow the special character of the vineyard site to shine through.
